This new and exciting event precedes Santa Barbara's world-famous “Old Spanish Days” Fiesta by a few weeks, and in the spirit of Fiesta, the night is charged with exciting Spanish music, passionate flamenco dancing, and spicy tapas appetizers. Don't miss this festive upscale event! • Friday, July 17: Sunset Rare & Reserve Wine Tasting 6:30 – 9 pm This romantic evening begins with a champagne reception under the stars at Santa Barbara's charming old-world carousel at Chase Palm Park Pavilion across the street from East Beach. Gourmet appetizers from Santa Barbara's finest chefs, fresh cut fruits, fine cheeses, and savory grilled meats are served as the sun sets over the Pacific in this classic Santa Barbara setting. • Saturday, July 18: Beachside Wine Festival 1 pm – 4 pm (11:30 am entrance for VIP/Press/Trade) This is the “Biggest Wine Fest Under the Sun” in Santa Barbara! A spectacular gathering of nearly 100 of California's finest wineries from every wine region in the state – showcasing a total of over 350 fine wines at our sunny beach front location. Over 2,500 wine fans will grab their glass and start swirling and sipping just a frisbee throw away from the sparkling Pacific, while live music on stage keeps the party going. One ticket price includes unlimited wine tasting, unlimited food sampling and, of course, the live music! An expanded VIP Pavilion will cater to weekend pass holders with reserved seating, their own personal jazz pianist and special wines and appetizers served in their tented and gated compound. Dozens of fine food purveyors and some of Santa Barbara's highest rated restaurants will offer gourmet food samples, fresh cut fruits, sizzling grilled meats and seafood as well as icy bottled waters and fruit juices. Wine lovers can top off a sun- drenched day of fine wine, delicious food and music with a rich dessert of fine chocolates or delicate cakes at this beach front extravaganza! |
